  8. This document describes the hDC Function Library and MicroApp Manager
  9. update file, version 0x0320.
  10.  
  11. The update file HDC320.ZIP contains HDCLIB.DLL version 0x0320 and MICROMAN.EXE
  12. version 0x0212.  HDCLIB.DLL is a function library used by all hDC applications.
  13. MICROMAN.EXE is the MicroApp Manager, the program that launches and maintains
  14. hDC MicroApps such as Power Toolbox, Icon Designer and Memory Viewer.

  16. To update your HDCLIB and MICROMAN:
  17.  
  18.     1. The updated files will require approximately 700 K of disk
  19.        space.  Make sure that you have at least this much space before
  20.        you begin.
  21.  
  22.     2. If you are in Windows, close down any hDC applications that are
  23.        running.  Failing to do so before updating HDCLIB and MICROMAN
  24.        may cause a system crash.
  25.  
  26.     3. Decompress the ZIP file and copy HDCLIB.DLL and MICROMAN.EXE
  27.        over the existing ones on your disk.  Note that these files
  28.        should be on your path.
  29.  
  30.        IMPORTANT
  31.        ---------
  32.        A. If you are already using MicroApp Manager and do not wish to
  33.       lose your system menu configuration and preferences such as the
  34.       MicroApp path, do NOT overwrite your existing MICROMAN.PRF file.
  35.  
  36.        B. If you're using an international language version of an hDC
  37.       product, please note that overwriting HDCLIB.DLL will cause some
  38.       error messages to appear in English instead of the language of the
  39.       international version.  Your international product will not
  40.       otherwise be affected.
  41.  
  42.     4. If you wish to update MICROMAN.PRF and MICROMAN.HLP, copy these
  43.        files over the existing ones on your disk also.
  44.  
  45. Future updates to these files will appear as HDCxxx.ZIP, where xxx is the
  46. version number of HDCLIB that is contained in the file.
